Avanzan las obras de embellecimiento y remodelación en Mar de Ajó
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Juan Pablo de Jesús, junto al secretario de Comunicación y Modernización, Cristian Cardozo, y la directora de Género, María Elena Farías, recorrieron las obras de embellecimiento y remodelación del boulevard de Avenida Libertador y también en Avenida Costanera, donde se avanza en la construcción de la nueva sede de la Oficina de Turismo.
“Es todo un cambio en el acceso a la localidad de Mar de Ajó y lo que es su principal bajada a playa. Permite que se vea el mar, que haya una apertura de esta Avenida y que toda la zona comercial crezca”, consideró Juan Pablo sobre la obra integral que lleva adelante la Municipalidad de La Costa.
La obra conformará un corredor peatonal que funcionará a su vez como un lugar de encuentro para las familias y los visitantes. En este sentido, el intendente aseguró que “mejorar el espacio público tiene que ver con mejorar nuestra competitividad turística”, al tiempo que calificó al turismo como “el principal motor económico de La Costa”.
En la misma línea, el jefe comunal recordó una serie de obras que mantuvieron el mismo objetivo: el de dar valor agregado a los espacios costeros con miras a embellecer el distrito. “Remodelamos el centro de San Clemente, cuando hicimos la peatonal nueva o hicimos el doble acceso; o como cuando hicimos el Centro Cultural y la Plaza Malvinas en Las Toninas; o en San Bernardo, que hemos tenido una intervención en la Costanera, igual que estamos llevando a cabo en Santa Teresita”, detalló.
Juan Pablo tambióen agregó que entre otras tantas obras, actualmente continúan los trabajos para la puesta en valor del Muelle de Lucila del Mar y que el próximo año se estará recuperando la Costanera de Las Toninas y Mar del Tuyú con la continuidad de las obras de defensa costera que se instalan sobre el frente marítimo de las zonas más dañadas por la erosión, que se da principalmente en la zona centro del distrito.
“Estamos en todas las localidades con todos los frentes en que tenemos intervención: haciendo obras en deporte, obras que tienen que ver con la cultura, obras que tienen que ver con la salud, con la producción y obras que tienen que ver con nuestro principal motor económico que es el turismo”, completó el mandatario local.
